ADO-MANIA COMPETITION

Adomania Competition was held among all clubs from classes  VI-VIII in school auditorium. IT was held to provide students a space to demonstrate their understanding of the media world of advertisements. Each club presented a unique piece of performing art including language art and Media Literacy. The winners are:-

1st Leaders- Samar, jaiya , Dev, Manisha, Himanshu ,Khushi.

2nd Achievers- Akshita, Himanshi, Hemant, Vinay Malik, Sarthak , Tanishq

2nd Victors- Khushi, Manisha, Chhavi, Neha, Jiya, Anuj.

    Vyakaran Antakshri

    It was an interesting activity for our students of Grade II & III on 26th Aug 2016.The teachers gave them a worksheet in hindi which consisted of nouns which they had to use in a sequence and also many other puzzles which were interesting and kept, the students glued to it .This activity was not only fun but also helped them in their language grammer.

      Best Out of Waste

      Best out of waste activity was conducted on 19.08.2016 for classes IV and V. It was a fusion of creativity and waste management .Unused water bottles base was used for the craft. Thus ,by using waste bottles and waste paper a pen stand was made by students which is a useful outcome for them for keeping various things. Students used their own creativity on it.

        Slogan Writing -‘Save Water’

        Slogan Writing activity on ‘Save Water’ was organised for students of classes IX- XI where there was mass participation. Giving wings to their imagination & creativity students wrote catchy and inspirational slogan which induced in them the sense of responsibility to be better citizen of their country.

          Geeta Shloka Chant

          Shloka chanting is a spiritual discipline believed to improve listening skills ,heightened energy and more sensitivity towards others .Indians have used the science of sacred sound for centuries as an aid to  humans who seek to communicate with the divine spirits with in themselves and the universe . In lieu with this ,the  students  from class VI-VIII has chanted shlokas. This helped   them to gain peace, feel calm and become centered and this chanting channelized the positive energy in them. After chanting ,they filled worksheet based on those shlokas.

            Patriotic Group Song Competition

            An Inter Club patriotic group song was organised for classes IX-XI. The students of each club prepared well for it and they presented a wide range of songs which invoked a strong sense of patriotism in each one who listened. Champions Club bagged the first position where as the victors club stood second .Achievers and Leaders shared the third place.

              India Quiz

              India is the cradle of the human race, the birth place of human speech ,the mother of history. The grandmother of legend and the great grandmother of tradition. To check and enhance the knowledge of students about India. Its heritage, politics, Geography, religion etc. The India Quiz was conducted from class VI-VIII. The participants and audience participants whole heartedly and enjoyed and raised their bar of knowledge. This competition has inculcated Team sprit and collaboration. The winners were:-

                Fancy Dress Competition

                It was a delight to watch our young scholarities dressed up as doctors , astronauts, teachers, dancers, Indira Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose. Yes it was a fancy dress competition and the topics for Grade II was ‘ Our Leaders’ and for Grade III was ‘Our professionals’. There was a preliminary round a couple of days back wherein each child of Grade II & III were given an opportunity to showcase their talent. The shortlisted candidates performed on 5th August 2016.They were confident , enthusiastic and full of vigour while on the stage.

                  MS Powerpoint Competition

                  A MS Powerpoint presentation competition was held on 5th August  2016 for our students of Grade Vth .The topics given was ‘Olympic Games 2016’. This competition was between the four clubs with each club having six participants .Every group put in their best and they were judged on the basis of the presentation creativity ,number of tool used and content and animation effects. The ‘Leaders’ bagged the 1st position with Achievers following them in the 2nd position and ‘Champions’ got the 3rd position.

                    Craft From Newspaper

                    “A child given free reign to make and paint to their heart’s content will often match their creations to their feelings”. In order to give wings to the students creativity, Newspaper craft activity was organized for students of classes IX –XI on 5th August 2016.Students created beautiful hangings from Newspaper.

                      SUDOKU

                      To enhance the logical thinking of students ‘Sudoku’ workshop was conducted for VI- VIII students. Sudoku is a logic–based number placement puzzle. The students were told about the techniques to solve the puzzle and later on they were given worksheet to test their understanding of concept .They enjoyed the activity and learned to solve the puzzle perfectly.
