A quality Circle time workshop was conducted for class II-III on 24^th Nov 2017.Quality circle time is a precious and a constructive time both for the class teacher as well as the students as many aspects of the class room behavior are highlighted in this discussion.The workshop conducted by Ms Sarita and Ms Garima focused on the importance of having Quality Circle time,the golden rules to be followed during that time.The students and teachers also had a short demo session of how a good quality circle time is to be spent.The students learnt the importance of having a Quality Circle time in their Classrooms.

An inter-club nukkad natak competition for classes IV-V was held on 24^th November 2017 in the school auditorium. The selected students of all four clubs participated in this competition. The topics assigned to the clubs were based on social issues like respecting labour, elders,importance of education and morality. The judges of the competiton were Ms Ann (Primary Coordinator) and Mr Prithvi (Dance teacher).The judges were impressed by the performance of the students and their stage presence. This week it was the time for our children of classes VII&VIII to go savvy with technology by showing their ICT skills. Class wise competition was conducted for making ‘Thanks Giving’ card using ‘Flash’ Software. Almost all the participants presented the animation using all the advanced features of Flash and used their technical skills to make the wonderful thanks giving cards.

Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think. The students of class IV-V had an engaging activity of Fun with Science on 17^th Nov 17 in the chemistry lab. The students were shown fun science experiments which made them wonder how it happened and what was the reason behind it. The experiments included –When flame cannot burst balloon? Why one pin can burst balloon and many cannot? Crawling snake from chemicals  and inflating Balloons through baking soda  and vinegar. These experiments made students curious and these questionings were answered by the teachers incharge Ms Ann and Ms Reshu, who explained concepts well.

An inter-club G.K Quiz competition for students of class II-III was conducted on 17^th Nov’17. A person who works on his knowledge and sharpens it, can lead others. Quizzing was a platform where the young minds tested their current affairs knowledge. From each class one student was shortlisted from each club. There current affairs knowledge from each class one student was shortlisted from each club.There were various rounds in the competition,which included –Rapid Fire Round,Buzzer Round, Audio-Visual round. The areas in which the students were questioned were sports ,Indian states and capitals ,language currencies ,flags, famous personalities invention and computer world. Inter Club Basketball Competition for girls under senior category was a major attention grabbing sporting event at Scholars Global School on 18^th Nov’17.The event began with various knock-out fixtures played between participants of different clubs.The event brought out the competitive spirit of the participants and the spectators cheered on their respective clubs.The atmosphere got electric with cheers of the students and the enthusiasm of the participants.The tournament ended with champions club clinching 1^st position,leaders club getting second position and Victors club grabbing 3^rd postion.

Slogan writing is an important visual aid and an effective way to inspire & catch & hold the attention of pupils to maintain their interest in the subject depicted through the slogans.So keeping in mind the same,Scholars Global school organized a slogan writing activity  for students of classes 9 to 12 in order to spread awareness about abolishing the evil of ‘female foeticide’.The students came up with attractive and appealing slogans that were later pinned up on class-room boards to give them a constant reminder about fighting against the evil. The best slogan adjudged by the incharge was :-

“A girl child is God’s gift, nurture her like a flower dress her in thrills”   

This Friday activity was again proved to be filled with the spirit of sports.Cricket Match for boys of classes VI-VIII was conducted as interclub competition.Students showed their talent in sports too.All participants and spectators showed great energy.The result of the competition is

Students who did not participate in sports were engaged in ‘Flagomania’ activity where they had to colour the five different flags of different countries.It boosted their knowledge regarding the flags of different nation.

The students of class IV-V had an inter-club Cricket Match on 10^th November. The selected students of class IV-V took part in this healthy match,where motive was not just competition but also building team work and learning  the spirit of sportsmanship.It was a club event and the four clubs competed with each other.After one round the winners of first round competed with each other to win the finals.

Developing excellent communication skills is absolutely essential to effective leadership.With this view in mind the students of class II-III had a workshop of Appropriate ways of talking on 10^th nov’17. The workshop as conducted by Ms.Shatabdi and Ms Aarushi. The teachers highlighted the importance of talking appropriately.The workshop threw light on topics like what is talking? When to talk? Elements of talking ,what tone should we speak in? what is need to talk appropriately. It was an informative workshop for students. We are hoping to see the change in their style of verbal communication.

This Friday activity was continued with zeal and energy.Basket ball match for girls and tennis match for boys was scheduled for students of classes VI-VIII. Again it was a healthy competition among all the four clubs.Students played with great energy and enthusiasm and maintained the spirit of sportsmanship.The result of the match is as follow:

An inter-club G.K Quiz Competition for students of class IV-V on 3^rd November 2017.Knowledge gives power and wisdom. A person who has knowledge can lead others. So it is important to sharpen the knowledge of young minds and quizzing was a platform for the young minds and quizzing was a platform for young minds. From each class one student was shortlisted from each club.The competition consisited of various rounds-First in India, Full Forms, Sports Knowledge, Important personalities, and capital of countries. The Students were extremely excites to challenge themselves and answered with full enthusiasm. The winners of the competition were:-

The students of class II-III competed in the skating competition on 3^rd November’17. The selected students who performed well in the first round participated in the main round. There were 3 types of Skating done:-In line Skating, Quard shoes skate and Adjustable skate.The students were enthusiastic about participating and performed well.
