Activities @ SGS

Extra-curricular activities are given equal importance as academics and detailed calendar of extra-curricular activities is prepared at the beginning of every academic year. In addition to the separate activity room that has been constructed for nursery and KG students, there are music, dance and art studios at SGS.

ACADEMIES AND SOCIETIES

Based on the areas of interest, each of the students is assigned to academies and societies. For the academic year 2012-13, the following academies and societies are being formed: Quiz, Science, Computers, Robotics, Nature, Social activities, NCC, Dramatics, Sculpture and Movies

INTER CLUB COMPETITIONS

All the students have been divided into four clubs and competitions are conducted between the four clubs in the areas of music, dance, elocution, recitation, quizzing, spelling bee, fancy dress competitions, painting, storytelling & writing and sports.
 

CELEBRATION OF INDIAN FESTIVALS AND RELIGIOUS EVENTS

To sensitize children about religions and to inculcate qualities of a true citizen, all festivals are celebrated with great fervour.
 

ANNUAL DAY

The school annual day is when the students of our school are given a platform to show to the audience their skills and abilities. Once every year, the Annual Day will be celebrated where every student will perform in their respective interest areas
 

TOURS AND TRIPS

Regular tours and trips will be organized as per the Class. Last year, our children were taken for a tour of Azad Gram, Delhi Metro, Hotel Le Bua, Parle etc
