Cricket Match(girls)

We believe that sports are the birth right and so we advocate for equality in sports for every girl. With this note this Friday activity was scheduled with Girls Cricket Match. This a club wise competition and it was very inspiring to see that even girls had performed upto the mark.

    Christmas Craft

    To celebrate the festivities of Christmas the students of class II-III had a Christmas craft activity on 22nd December ’17 in their respective classrooms.The students made reindeer pencil holders using disposable cups. They covered cups with chart paper and posted antlers nose and eyes on it.The students enjoyed the activity and made appealing pencil hoders.

      Shramdaan Activity

      Smile is the key that fits the locks on everyones heart’.

      Students of class IX prepared ‘hand made sandwitches’ and distributed them to all the maids,sweepers,gardeners,drivers and conductors of the school.It was the joint efforts of the students which brought a smile on their faces and sense of being loved.With these different activities we made our children learn the fact that after all ‘Happiness doesn’t  result from what we get, but from what we give.’

        Christmas Carol Singing Competition

        Christmas is the most awaited festival as it brings joy and happiness for all. We conducted a club wide Carol singing competition for the students of classes VI-VIII on 22/12/17.Students put forth their enthralling performances. The competitors gave out a variety of song with such melodious voices which in the run attracted the audience as such. The winners were appreciated by the judges. The result of the competition is as follow

          PPT Presentation Competition

          To boost up the technical skills of our children we conducted power point presentation competition for the selected students of classes VI-VIII. Students used various technical and animated skills which were taught in their previous PPT workshop and presented fabulous PPTS.

            Personality Development Workshop

            It is very important to have a sharpened image and an efficient Socially Viable,multi-faceted and impressive personality. To give some tips on Personality Development to the students of classes VI-VIII we conducted a workshop on Personality Development. Students were given few valuable tips to develop their personality not only  by being dressed properly but also being confident, active listener, learning social skills being positive always and never giving up. Students found this workshop very valuable and easy to implement.

              Carol Singing

              Christmas is a time of celebration and merriment. Carol singing is particularly associated with Christmas as they proclaim the birth of Jesus Christ.An inter club carol singing competition was held on 15th December  17 in the A.V room. The carols which they sang were Deck the Halls and O come all ye Faithful. The judges of the competition were Ms Ann, Mr Kailash and Ms Prerna. The students sang in harmony and synchronization.They truly brought the Christmas spirit in the air. The winners of the competition were-

                Bible Stories

                The students of class II-III had an activity of Bible Stories in the auditorium on 15th Dec 17. As Christmas is approaching the students were told the story of birth of Jesus and hour it took place in the town of Betlehem. The students were shown a video of birth of Christ.With this video another bible story was told which was of a rich man and a poor man. This gave the moral that we should do good deeds and help others, So that we too will be blessed because of it. The students were given the message of doing good deeds. After the activity they wrote their Christmas wishes and it was displayed in class

                  Time Management Workshop

                  ‘Race against time is the everyday mantra we begin with. For helping the children in the strategic planning to utilize time, a workshop was conducted by Scholars Global School on 8th Dec’17 for students of class IX. Through power point presentation students were made abreast of how time management is important to efficiently and effectively move through the day. The students were given useful tips to handle the stressors of home& school that can be challenging for children. Children were made to learn time management through some fun activities & an interactive session.

                    TUX Paint Competition

                    Tux Paint Competition was held for classes II-III on 8th December 2017 in the computer lab. The students had to create beautiful scenes in the computer using the tux-paint application. The selected students used the various design formats and created impressive artwork in computers. The judges of the competition were Ms Khyati (Digital Arts Teacher) and Ms Ritu Verma (PGT Computer).The judges appreciated the efforts of the students.

                      Sudoku

                      Along with a strong focus on academic material,Scholars Global School strives hard for training the brains of the youngster by engaging them in activities which aim to take out the best with in them .Keeping in mind the same,’Sudoku’ activity was organised for students of class IX to provide them opportunity to enhance their logical,critical and decision making skills. Students were provided the ‘Sudoku’ puzzles which they solved under the supervision of classteachers. By doing this activity,students analysed the connection between their actions and results and got themselves enriched.

                        Football Match(Boys)

                        To make this weekend completely enjoyable with energy and zeal, Football Match was conducted among all clubs. High spirits could be seen on ground and a fantastic match was witnessed. Students played with full energy and enthusiasm. The spectators cheered the teams and boosted the spirits of participants. A friendly and healthy competition was observed.

                          Storytelling

                          An engaging story telling session was conducted for class IV on Ist December 2017.The story telling was conducted by Ms Anjana in the A.V room. The story taken for the day was “The Happy Prince” a famous children’s story written by prominent writer Oscar Wilde. The theme revolved  around caring for others selflessly and helping others in need.The moral of the story was befitting for the students.The students were fascinated and engrossed in listening to the story. After the story telling session,the students were also shown a video of the story of the “Happy Prince”.

                            Storytelling Competition

                            A story telling competition was held for classes II-III on 1st December ’17 in the A.V room. The participants were selected after a stage of preliminary round.The students were provided with four different stories clubwise. The twist of changing the ending of a popular story made it creative and helped the students to think out of the box. The students recited the story with confidence and enthusiasm .They made the story telling more vibrant by adding Props for their recital. The judges Ms Anjana,Ms Pooja for class II and Ms Aarushi and Ms Geeta for class III acknowledged the effort of students.
